DESCRIPTION:Join us at InSpero’s 8th annual Magic City Storytellers\, one of our favorite gatherings of the year\, where we showcase the amazing voices and words of Birmngham area artists. Two singer/songwriters. Two poets. Two writers. All at the Avon Theater with an amazing dessert intermission. Featured this year will be the beloved Sean of the South Sean Dietrich\, young adult novelist Randi Pink\, poet (with a grant to kayak down the Cahaba River and respond in poetry) Halley Cotton\, spoken word poet Kerry B\, hip hop musicians Shaheed and DJ Supreme and singer / songwriter Drew Kearney. \nCome at 6 pm to enjoy beer and wine and desserts. Performance begins at 7 pm and we will have a dessert intermission. Seating limited to 250. Get your tickets early as we’ve sold out each year. \nSponsors include Alabama Public Television as part of their preview of the Southern Storytellers Series from PBS.
