DESCRIPTION:The Shoals Storytelling Festival is located in Florence\, AL in an area referred to as “the Shoals.” The Tennessee River winds through the heart of the four cities of Florence\, Muscle Shoals\, Sheffield\, and Tuscumbia. Pre-festival events take place throughout the Quad Cities\, but the festival takes place at the historic Shoals Theatre in downtown Florence. The theater is a cultural epicenter for the area and is situated among the best eats\, shopping\, and hospitality one could ask for.
