He’s the creator of the “Sean of the South” podcast and makes appearances at the Grand Ole Opry. \nA seasoned performer\, Horton is a multi-instrumentalist\, composer\, producer and music historian. \nWith a trumpet-playing father and a banjo-playing grandfather\, he was exposed to a variety of music genres — from the sound of big bands\, jazz combos and classical music to the old-time sounds of Southern gospel and sacred harp. \nHe has produced and performed music scores for 16 PBS films by Ken Burns\, including “The Civil War” and “Baseball\,” two films for the A&E network and 21 films for The National Park Service. \n***Please note:  Lakeside Chautauqua does not sell tickets to the actual show\, instead they sell “day passes” ($36 per person) and “auto passes” ($15 per vehicle).  Each person attending the performance will need a day pass and each vehicle will need an auto pass.  You can purchase these in advance or at the gate the day of the show.
