[dropcap]S[/dropcap]tanding on the bow of the boat, hanging onto my fishing rod, my reel began to scream. The fish, bucking and fighting, bent my rod in a half circle.

The mighty fish came to the surface, and my mouth dropped open. It was the biggest redfish that I’d ever seen. It was as thick as a county drain pipe. This would be the biggest fish I’d ever caught in my life.

I called out to my buddy, fishing at the other end of the boat. If I’d’ve called for the net, or the gaff, I would have that fish on my wall right now. But I didn’t call for those.

“Tim!” I screamed. “Get out your phone camera!”
