Sean, I’m like Sherry. I adored Lewis Grizzard and missed him terribly. So far, I’ve read everything you’ve published and offered through Amazon and I’m ready for more! Keep writing!

I loved when I lived in Chipley. Very slow way of life.

Sean, like Sherry and Tammy, I too loved Lewis Grizzard and his down home stories. I didn’t think there would ever be anyone whose writing I enjoyed as I much as his. Then a friend shared one of yours, and I have been hooked since. I know most likely there’ll be tears (I am such a sap), but that’s why I keep kleenex next to my computer. Thank you for sharing your talent!!!

My daughter introduced me to Sean Dietrich and said I’d love your writings. I sent for Will the Circle Be Unbroken and laughed and got teary-eyed at the whole book. Got it read in two days. Couldn’t put it down. I had to Google scupperdongs though. My grandma made crabapple jelly from her tree in the back yard. I thought that was unique, but scupperdongs takes the prize. Can’t wait to read more. You have a talent, young man and I’m enjoying it immensely. I just turned 80, look like 65, but that’s good genes working for me I’m told. Keep up the good work and Amazon is going to love me even more.

Sean, Thank you so much for the book. I didnt know that you were so famous.. LOL Really I just thought you wrote a great article in the paper that I pick up in my driveway whenever they feel I need something free to read. Now I realize that you are so much more. I hope you enjoyed the honey. I tell everyone that you cant get it much fresher than from your neighbor. Good for allergies, or so I am told.. Anyway you are an impressive writer and I agree with Donna that you are the best writer since Lewis Grizzard. My kinda talk even if I do come from Michigan. At 68 years old and having left Michigan when I was 18 I consider myself a true “Damn Yankee”..

I just finished The Incredible Winston Browne & have recommended it to every reader, and even non-reader, I know. It made me laugh, wonder, fret, cry & finally.smile. I live in Pace but would move to Moab in a heartbeat if he were sheriff.

I am a newbie to your work– got hooked on your “Mother Mary” series and am glad that I found your blog. You do remind me of Lewis Grizzard–THAT is high praise! We are “transplanted” Southerners but have lived here long enough to have deep roots in the culture, language (and indeed there is a language to be learned here), and Southern life. When we came to the South 45 years ago, Jimmy Carter had just become President, and I thought that I had been dropped off in a cotton patch with zero chance of survival. Since then we have raised two sons of the South and have come to love this part of the world, this land, this set of people. Having been raised in the South, you are a wonderful translator of the way of life here for those who want words to describe their lives here and for those who have never lived here. Keep writing. We need you.

Sean, I love your book, WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN!! You are wonderful and so is your mother and Jamie!! My sisters and I grew up in rural southeastern Oklahoma and we all three enjoy your writing. I wish you could have interviews my maternal grandmother and grandfather and written their story. Thank you for never giving up on yourself. You exhibit true strength!! I always say that life is a sweet/sad affair. I do think the good outweighs the bad. ❤️ Linda R. Smithi

Purchased Will Circle be Unbroken and literally could not put it down until the next day when I finished with it. I am a 73 year old, born and raised Texan. I fell hard for your style of writing ✍️. I loved the book so much I bought 5 more copies to share with anyone who had a situation similar to yours. My dad didn’t commit suicide and died at 84, but I did identify with many of your frustrations. Great book 📚

And I just realized, for the third time, that the subscription ends after several weeks! Don’t know if I have done something wrong – – or ????? But I just subscribed again. Don’t want to miss a day

Sean, I just saw you in Rome. I bought your latest book from your wife and since you weren’t there to sign I asked her to sign it which she graciously did. However, just before her name she wrote “CEO”. This was somewhat puzzling knowing your Baptist upbringing which clearly teaches that the husband is the head of the household. So I was wondering if you were aware of this intrusion on your authority. Look forward to your explanation of this.

Just read your FB post about Quiet Will and your blog post Old Dog. Both brought me to tears, such beautiful writing. I subscribed to Sean of the South and look forward to your words.
